Introduction

Hello! I decided to start a blog about my health and fitness journey; first for myself to see where I came from and to organize each part of my journey, and second so that others can see examples of the rocky yet amazing road this health and fitness journey is about.

I am 28 years old, got married in 2015 and since freshman year of college I have somehow put on over 40lbs of weight. I know to some of you that may not mean a lot, but to me, health and fitness and the medical field have always been something I loved. I decided to be serious about my journey this year. I have tried a gluten free diet for my migraines, Paleo to see if I have felt healthier, I have tried low carb, no carb, keto… you name it, I could never really stick to something I felt I was being starved on.

I currently follow the 21 day fix/shakeology. I LOVE yoga and have recently fallen in love with MMA style workouts.
